Fellowship Programme Page

Every year we open three applied research fellowships open to all who want to contribute to Nū’s mission to create a regenerative future. The fellowships typically start in Spring on a rolling basis for three months. Our fellowships do not offer stipends— we are actively working on grants and financing to make it possible.

  • Data science applications for climate resilience

  • Environmental and human justice and policy

  • Built environment and infrastructure solutions for resilience (against extreme weather events)

  • AI ethics and applications for climate resilience

  • Interdisciplinary climate solutions research for biodiversity, ocean resilience

  • AI applications for robotics to increase quality of life

Fellowship focus areas are:

  • Access to collaborative research and expert climate network

  • Autonomy and co-creation of specific research thesis/topic

  • Platform for publishing and disseminating research

  • Guidance from industry experts hand picked for each project

Our application process is straightforward and spans two working weeks depending on schedules and specialisation of fellowship.
